Who doesn't love a dreamy Salt River desert engagement session? Being an Arizona wedding photographer the desert will always have my heart. When you think of the desert you think of yellow, brown, dirt, and maybe even a little bit of a green cactus. Which is totally how a lot of it is, however; down by the salt river is not that way. You have lush green trees, beautiful water, and a mountain that gives off different purple vibes during the sunrise. It truly is a majestic place and I am so glad that Brittney and Josh decided to do their desert engagement session here at the salt river.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Brittney and Josh. They are truly one of the coolest couples I know. Since COVID happen this last spring the couple had to postpone their wedding. It was a bummer but in the long run, it was best. Their new date will happen in April 2021 at Schnepf Farms and I can't be more excited for them.
Brittney and Josh's Love story
Josh and I first met at a hookah bar in 2011. We were both hanging out with friends that night when my best friend knew one of Josh's friends from our high school. We ended up sitting with him and Josh then that’s where we hit it off. He found out I was a massage therapist and used that to get my number. We started talking, became friends, then low and behold later that summer we started dating. Christmas Eve of 2018 Josh purposed with his grandmother's ring on his grandmother's favorite holiday. How sentimental is that?! As 2019 came and went we were set for April 11th of 2020 as our wedding date. Of course, 2020 had other plans, we ended up having to postpone our wedding because of a worldwide pandemic. So hopefully this time April 10th, 2021 will be the official year and start of our marriage. It will be 10 years of being together by the time our wedding comes along. It seems like just yesterday we had just met. Crazy to think we’ve been together that long!
